Andrew McGibbon is a photographer and conservationist based in London. He is currently an artist in residence at the Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre in North London, working on a project called ‘Animal Lectures’ as well as taking on commercial commissions. He specialises in photographing human and non-human animals with flash.
In his animal work, he presents a creature in a unique and surreal way, inviting the viewer to find a new appreciation for the beast. A large drive for him is effecting change for the wellbeing of our planet through making the viewer aware of the beauty of the natural world.
