My work has been inspired and informed by a sustained investigation into the social and psychological value of Myths in culture. In this time it is the role of the artist to continue this ancient tradition of myth telling in a contemporary language. I want to reinvigorate this antique practice to refresh its function in society.
I represent these mythological narratives using sculpture and installation. I often collaborate with other artists to make multimedia pieces, including sound, film and performance to make the installations into living sets.
